Adult Easter Egg Hunt
The KPRD will host an Adult Easter Egg Hunt at Jackson Morrow Park.  The hunt will take place in the dark, so please bring a flashlight.

Annual KPRD EGGcellent, EGGciting, EGGstra FUN Youth Easter Egg Hunt.  The hunt is for children 10 and under.  This program is FREE and open to the public.
 
Concerts
The Kokomo Park Band will entertain each Wednesday evening at Highland Parks Earthen Stage beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The Summer Concert Series has several weekend concerts throughout the summer held in Foster Park at the Kokomo Arts Pavilion sponsored by Daniels & Alexander and Weber Speakers

Basketball
The KPRD offers Men's 5 on 5 and Women's 3 on 3 Basketball League Play.
 
Community Garage Sale

The Kokomo Parks & Recreation Department offers Community Garage Sales on the Kokomo Beach Family Aquatic Center parking lot. 

Craft Fest
Come and join in the fun for arts and crafts in Highland Park on the lawn in front of Rodgers Pavilion and the Highland Stage.  Shirt tie-dying, candle dipping, basket weaving and crafts of all kinds. 
 
Haunted Trail Walk
One night ONLY located at Jackson Morrow Park, 4200 S. Park Road in Kokomo, Indiana.  This event is FREE and open to the public.
 
Kelly Miller Circus
The KPRD will be hosting the Kelly Miller Circus in Future Park.  You can come in the morning at 9 am and watch them raise the Big Top tent using elephant power and see the other animals and trainers.  The morning activities are FREE!
 
Pint-Size Chef
Children will learn the basics of cooking such as reading a recipe, the different cooking tools, measuring different food as well as proper etiquette and they will also prepare a fun and simple dish each week.
 
Pooches in the Pool
The KPRD offers "Pooches in the Pool" for our canine friends on the last day of operations for the summer.

Pumpkin Painting
Get ready for Halloween.  Pumpkin Painting is offered at the Kirkendall Nature Center in Jackson Morrow Park.  Pumpkins are provided while supplies last but you can always bring your own pumpkin to paint.

Recreation Adventure Program
Arts and crafts, games, storytelling, special events, picnics, sports and physical fitness will be offered at all supervised playgrounds.  Supervisors are present to offer the children leadership and organized games and sports. 

Softball Information
The KPRD offers Men's, Women's and Co-Ed slow pitch summer softball leagues and Men's and Women's slow pitch fall softball leagues.
 
Super Explorers Camp
Super Explorers is a science and nature summer day camp based at Jackson Morrow Park at the Kirkendall Interpretive Nature Center.  This program is for Junior Explorers for children ages 5-7 and Senior Explorers for children ages 8-11. 
 
Swim Lessons
Several sessions will be offered at Kokomo Beach Family Aquatic Center.  Registrations will be taken at the pool. 
 
Tennis Lessons/Tournament
Tennis lessons and a tennis tournament will be held by the KPRD staff.  Racquets and balls will be provided.
 
Tour de Kokomo
The Tour de Kokomo will begin in Foster Park and entails a 6 mile bike ride through Kokomo highlighting various city parks and local area attractions.
 
Water Sprays
Watersprays are held throughout the summer at different park locations.  They are free and open to the public. 
 
Water Walking
Water walking is Adults Only.  Daily sessions will be offered in the Lazy River.
