Welcome to the Kokomo Police Department's website.  We thank you for your interest in the KPD and for spending a few moments of your time with us.  We hope this website will answer your questions and provide you with useful information. 

Chief Robert Baker has worked with the Kokomo Police Department since August 31, 1987.  He is a lifelong resident of Kokomo and graduated from Haworth High School in June 1980.  Chief Baker earned an Education Degree from Indiana State University.  He has served as a Patrol Officer, an Active Field Training Officer, SWAT Officer, and Officer for the Motorcycle Patrol. Chief Baker and his wife have three children.

The Office of the Chief is commanded by the Police Department Chief Executive Officer and consists of the Patrol Division, the Support Division, the Investigation Division, and the Professional Standards Unit.
