Roe named new Parks Superintendent, Morris now full-time Controller

The City of Kokomo announced that Torrey Roe has been named Parks Superintendent. Roe currently is the department’s Recreation Manager and started with City in 2005 as a Recreation Programmer.

“Torrey has served our community for 11 years and is well-suited for the job,” said Mayor Goodnight. “He cares about the community and has a great vision for the future of the parks department.”

Current Parks Superintendent Randy Morris will become the full-time Controller, after eight months as interim Controller.  Morris had filled both roles since January, 2016. He formerly served as Director of Operations for four years and as Controller for two years before moving to the Parks Department in July, 2014.

“Randy Morris has done a remarkable job as he has been asked to fill two roles the last eight months,” said Mayor Greg Goodnight. “I appreciate the effort he has put forth. He will be a great leader for the Controller’s office.”
