The Big Ben Coffee Company will relocate and expand its operations to the Northeast corner of Phillips and Jefferson Streets. This move will transform a former car wash and unused property into full service coffee shop.
“We are excited to partner with Big Ben Coffee and once again work on revitalizing an underutilized property that will become an asset to the community,” said Mayor Greg Goodnight.
The new location will be a full service coffee shop including drive-thru service.
“We will be offering a full line of the highest quality coffee and tea drinks, fresh baked pastries and limited food items.” said Big Ben owner Deb Copeland. “Just as before, we will provide our customers with a relaxed, warm atmosphere. Several fireplace sitting areas will be available as well as two private rooms for meetings.”
“We have some ongoing initiatives and infrastructure improvements to improve the area,” said Mayor Goodnight. “Big Ben Coffee is a perfect example of the types of business these improvements can attract, only adding to the appeal of the neighborhood.”
Big Ben’s construction is currently underway with plans to open in late spring 2018.
